Synopsis Movie :
While James McAvoy is having an indie-film year before getting back in Charles Xavier mode in 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Next up: he'll been seen in Trance, Danny Boyle's apparent return to his thriller roots. This is a polite way of saying there's minimal buzz for his turn here as a cop out to bring down his longtime target.

Former criminal Jacob Sternwood is forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. This gives detective Max Lewinsky one last chance to catch the man he has always been after. As they face off, they start to uncover a deeper conspiracy they both need to solve in order to survive.
