Synopsis Movie :
Nicolas Winding Refn's is on board as the executive producer for director Luis Prieto's first English-language outing, which is most likely a standalone film and not the beginning of a planned trilogy á la Refn's career launching epic. Richard Coyle might be a surprise choice in the lead role for audiences who are most used to his cuddly side (see: Coupling); helping earn initial buzz was the casting of model Agyness Deyn in a supporting role (and on the stripper pole) and Zlatko Buric reprising his role from the original.
Based on the edgy and explosive series by visionary director Nicolas Winding Refn, Pusher stars Richard Coyle as a drug dealer who grows increasingly desperate over the course of a week after a botched deal lands him in the merciless clutches of a ruthless crime lord. The more desperate his behavior, the more isolated he becomes until there is nothing left standing between him and the bullet his debtors intend to fire his way.
